CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEE



SUPPLIED: UPVC WINDOWS
That notice in writing of any claim under this guarantee shall be given by the customer to GLAMORGAN GLAZING within the period of the guarantee and promptly after the defect arises.

That the product has not been damaged as a result of accident, misuse or negligence by the customer or third party or by the
structural movement of the property.

That the customer has not interfered with the permanent fixings of the product or made an attempt to remedy the
alleged defect.

That the moving parts of the operation mechanisms have been kept free from dust, dirt and debris and have been regularly
lubricated. This guarantee does not extend to mechanical parts which, in the opinion of the company, have become defective as a result of normal wear and tear.

That GLAMORGAN GLAZING or their representatives shall have been afforded reasonable opportunity to examine the product on site.

6. GLAMORGAN GLAZING takes no responsibility for damaged or defect products due to incorrect or poor fitting.

7. That GLAMORGAN GLAZING shall be permitted to supply and fit any replacement in the most economical manner and within a reasonable time consistent with GLAMORGAN GLAZING normal delivery period, such replacement being supplied in accordance with procedures of GLAMORGAN GLAZING current at the time of replacement, which may incorporate modifications arising from changed or improved technical developments. In the case of replacement the period of guarantee shall extend to the limit of the period of the original guarantee or up to 12 months from the date of replacement which ever is later.

8. That GLAMORGAN GLAZING shall not be held liable to meet any claim for consequential loss or damage
howsoever arising .

9. The guarantee period on sealed double glazed excludes glass breakages.

This guarantee is given in addition to, and not in substitution for the rights of the customer under common law and by statute.

SERVICE CALLS

Service calls made after the first year from the date of installation and which are outside provisions of our guarantee will be subject to a call-out charge for labour and/or materials.

All prices stated or quoted by the company are exclusive of VAT which will be added to the amount invoiced at the rate
prevailing at the time of the invoice.

THE PERIOD OF GUARANTEE IS AS FOLLOWS

10 Years on PVCU Window and Door Frames supplied by GLAMORGAN GLAZING.
1 year manufacturing warranty on all movable parts/handles supplied by GLAMORGAN GLAZING.

This guarantee is effective only when full payment has been made at the time of completion of the contract, otherwise it is null and void.

In the case of supply only contracts the Guarantee applies solely to the product supplied by GLAMORGAN GLAZING and applies solely to the customer in which the contract has been made with GLAMORGAN GLAZING.
This guarantee does not cover third party and is non-transferable.

GLAMORGAN GLAZING reserve the right to replace any defective items with materials currently in use at the time of such replacement.

This guarantee is given in addition to, and not in substitution for, all rights of the customer under common law and by statute.
